Torn MCL though great news compared to ACL.

Just look at this from UCSF Health:
https://www.ucsfhealth.org/conditions/m ... 0to%20heal.

A grade 1 (minor) MCL tear can take from a few days to a week and a half to heal enough for a return to normal activities, including sports.
A grade 2 tear can take from two to four weeks to heal.
A grade 3 tear usually takes four to eight weeks to heal, unless the ACL is also damaged, in which case recovery may take longer.

Assuming it's a grade 3 one but that's definitely no where near as bad as an ACL.

Sorry you guys. Terrible news. Circle the wagons and find a way forward.

This happened to us last year with Scruggs. The difference is that you have a deeper well of talent.

A season to forget, once it finally ends.

Gumby, Chap, Chest....that is a tough pill to swallow. I personally consider COLIN GILLESPIE as the ultimate example of BIG EAST hoops. No one, I mean NO ONE, exemplifies excellence in all phases like CG!

You're in good hands with Moore....for the glass half full mindset, great opportunity for Antoine to shine.

Xup, well said. Kid us just a flat out warrior.

I think you nailed where many of us are holding out hope. Antoine was beginning to see some minutes when it mattered. Now he is fully in the mix.

This team is obviously not as talented as the 2016 or 2018 teams, but I felt they were good enough to get to the elite 8 game depending on matchups, and the who knows. Now, I pretty much will think its a win if we get out of the first weekend. These chances are not guaranteed, never know how long you can keep it going, so that is frustrating to miss tbe opportunity. Tough on Gillespie to only have the chance to play in 2 tourneys over the 4 years. Maybe he comes back, who knows?

Lastly, and then time for me at least to move on, just heard that Jay said Dhamir Crosby-Roubdtree may never play again. He and Gillespie came in together. Tough break for a high charactet guy. Certainly wasn't Ochefu or Spellman, but he would have helped us on the inside for sure this year.
