Who F'ing knows. NOBODY is raking like this guy. If this kind of production continues we will own this conference.
Now let's us look at the other pieces. Ol' Scruggy is dialed in and is a FREAKING MAN. It appears that his SWEAT is like a POWER elixir for our young guys. Bottle that and you will have CHAMPIONS.
IDK, but this roster looks like a group of really special players. The chemistry feels right, and the mix of experience and youth is remarkable.
Johnson and Griffin are playing in the stratosphere. KyKy is Electric and CoJo is looking like the next big thing. Dwon just takes your breath away.....WOW!
If Paul Scruggs is in the BE POY conversation (or Z).....we are making history with team 99.

Whoa...let's not get out ahead our skis. While last night was a great performance by Xavier, one we haven't seen in quite a while on Victory Parkway, this team still has a lot of stuff to work on. They obviously won't make 19 threes again this year. That record might stand for years.
I do agree with you about Freemantle. Kid is 7 games into his sophomore year and he's averaging 19 points and 8 rebounds on 63% from the field and 44% from three. He's not a volume shooter either. He's just really efficient. He's playing like a POY candidate. 12-14 from the field last night for 28 points and scored from all over the court.
The past 3 years, Steele has had to work with a team that had zero shooters and was full of low basketball IQ players. Mack totally whiffed on his last recruiting class, which ended up being a big bust for Xavier. Steele has focused on recruiting shooters and high IQ guys. Getting grad-transfer Nate Johnson this year has been huge for this team. The freshman class looks like it is going to be a really good one too.
Lots to be excited about, but I hate starting off the conference slate on the road at Providence! Hopefully Xavier doesn't come out and shoot 4-18 from three. If Xavier were to win that one, they should be ranked come next week.
