Let's say if shots were falling and we lost by 2 points in a heart breaker against this mediocre ASU team. Would changes be mandatory? Or would Mullin feel justified in his system and just unlucky to lose?

Just ignoring problems don't make them go away, and we are now at the point where we can finally address them. Time for some much, much needed changes.

Glad we ultimately made the Tournament, because now we will never have to wonder "what if?" like teams on the wrong side of the bubble. But this year is now done and we have been BAD for a solid month.

Nobody on the staff is valuable- including Matt who started strong but has become almost exclusively a transfer coach. If Matt goes to Nebraska, no big deal. If Mullin doesn't step down then I'd say get 3 new assistants.

Can't agree enough, except I don't get the love so many SJU fans have for Mike Rice. Like he's the second coming of Dean Smith or something. We need a quality X's and O's coach, a guy who can recruit locally and by locally I mean the North East from VA up through New England. Thats the new local, can't think we can rely on just the tri-state area. I'm not one for chasing kids away. I think our kids have talent and can all succeed with good coaching. I hope they all come back. We need a Mike Dunlap on staff. He carried Lavins untalented butt and if not for Jordan screwing us over we prob would have had a better run under Lavin.

Is Mark Jackson an option? He has the NBA connections and is in the SJU family. I recall him being a pretty decent coach so he wouldn't have to learn on the job.
