I never cared or bothered to look at old rpi formula vs new but there was an interesting read friend sent to me last weekend on SOS and how NCAA doesnt use opp's opp SOS the way we (non-committee members) always thought. Basically it's only your Opponents record that matters in SOS

Based on what I see with Rpi vs Bpi, I'm going with UD RPI, Bpi has Mississippi #30, that alone = no credibility and the Creighton guy is using this?

According to BPI, Ole Miss is 19-9 vs. the 27th hardest SOS.

Not arguing if Ole Miss has a compelling case, they most certainly do but there is so much contradictory info. Re: SOS, you can read the explanation for yourself at UD Pride.com, they were just with the NCAA last weekend and asked for clarification on SOS. Per UD Pride NCAA SOS for Ol Miss is 85 not 27 and while NCAA RPI site doesn't display SOS their RPI is the same as UD Pride. The only sure thing this time of year, keep winning.
