Could've had another 2,000 or so maybe. Not at all worth it. Part of the appeal of Prudential Center is the ability for us to create an intimate atmosphere, a stark contrast to that awful airplane hangar in the middle of a swamp we used to play in. Until we know we can put 15,000 people in the place ALL THE TIME the upper deck stays closed. Having a few thousand extra people rattling around in the upper deck is not even remotely worth giving up the atmosphere we have in there now. The way the upper deck is curtained off and the arena is lighted you don't even realize there's an upper deck there. It feels like a 10,000 seat arena. And it gets LOUD. This place traps noise, our old arena was where noise went to die. The setup we have now is exactly what we need. And thankfully our AD gets that.

PC should be ranked but I'd have to do the leg work to see who lost once or twice since last polls that might fall. PC will definitely get votes at the least.
NC state is throttling #2 Duke at home on national TV after battling tough #3 Virginia on the road, if duke game sticks they may enter the polls...

A 1 pt win at Creighton(where DePaul just beat them easily?) I don't know that it's a lock at all. I personally would have PC ranked and SH not ranked. I think for one to the voters the name Seton Hall will hurt them.

I would agree with you if all the voters watched the SHU/CU game, but the reality is that 90+% are only going to see the final score, which means they only see a road win over a team that's already beaten some very good teams (Oklahoma, Nebraska). Also considering just about everyone immediately below the Hall lost, I think they drop a few spots but remain ranked. As for Providence, I hope they break into the rankings but expect them to be in the upper tier of receiving votes.
