Coaches aren't saying anything, but they are waiting on an MRI to confirm what most suspect, major knee injury, and he's done.

I watched the injury, saw the tests they did on the floor, which are standard for anyone with suspected knee injuries like MCL or ACL. Now, I am no expert, but I've seen ACL blowouts a couple of tines in person (I'm a firefighter/EMT) and my wife has had major knee reconstruction after an ACL blowout 7 months ago. From what I saw, Stainbrook did major damage to the knee. He failed the MCL/ACL test right away (on TV, so grain of salt people), and that's the very same test they gave my wife, and I asked lots and lots of questions about it then. I just hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

That's nonsense, unless I missed some missive saying that a team's resume already in the books will be negatively affected by an injury to a major player.

They still are where they were this morning. They need 1 more win. Now they must beat someone out of Nova or the BE QF.

Lunardi had them in with two wins, and they won their next two after that proclamation.

He's not the ultimate decision maker but they could still be in already. The bubble is atrocious.

RPI Forecast has it going to 38 and then to 43 when/if they lose to Villanova.

If they're without Stainbrook, they better look impressive in doing it or they won't be taken even with another win. Frankly, I don't see them winning another game without Stainbrook. He's that important to them. If they couldn't rally against Seron Hall after a teammate went down like that, how are they going to find a way to win against a better team?
