Nova is a very beatable team if you can make shots consistently and even out or erase their 30-40 FT attempts every game. A game like this was overdue for Nova…can't just go through with no upsets. I just wish SJ gave them their first L.

Except Villanova's offense isn't keeping up at all, which makes it worse.

Takes a little bit of the sting out of the loss, doesn't it?

Creighton got screwed not being ranked, and they're making a freakin statement. Wow. Arena looks great on tv too.

If you looked up perfect offensive execution, this game may be listed.

Not sure anyone can pinpoint the reason we were less than 100%, but I would suspect the stomach bug going around that McDermott (I assume others too) had on Saturday probably had more to do with their performance than the travel. Not sure if that bug has cleared up yet. Additionally, it was very clear we missed Gibbs when playing from behind. Lastly, Providence played a really nice game at their home court. If everyone is healthy (other than Gibbs) and on their game, I expect a great battle tonight. I expect us to lose a close game just like I expect us to win a close game when Nova comes to Omaha. Although tonight or the return game I wouldn't be too surprised if the results are flipped. Just hope everyone is on their A game so we have some fun basketball to watch.

You boys still under the weather?
