SJU is a joke. So much for this year. How the hell have we regressed?

Everyone back from last year, add in Jordan (probably our best player), Sanchez, and Hooper. Seriously WTF?

the coach, I can already see the players starting to get frustrated which is bad especially for a team. The coach should really calm them down and get their composure back. Allstate Arena isn't exactly a hostile place to play at.

Obviously our missed layups and dunks always come back to haunt us. But today we are shooting 54% and 100% from 3…I repeat 100%…7-7. Yet we are about to be blown out by a cold shooting DePaul team. If any game could prove ref bias, it's this one. 3:1 ratio of FT's and DePaul in the bonus with 13 minutes left. Pointer was fouled first. The technical was REACTIVE to not getting that call. I honestly don't even blame Pointer. I would probably feel like throwing someone down after the zebras come rushing to save the day for DePaul too.

Harrison with 4 guys around him Hooper WIDE open from 3…I screamed Hooper Hooper! Pass! Nope…Harrison threw up a shot that didn't go in. Hooper wide open needs to have the ball every time. He can hit 3's in bunches.

Another clean block…more DePaul FT's. Vomit. SJ should be up 20 right now.

Also keep in mind that Depaul and St Johns are enormous compared to the other schools so despite the other attractions you should still be able to get people there. I'll give you the no success thing, that's why you two are sleeping giants with more potential than anybody else.

Can't speak for St. Johns but DePaul needs to re-exam their leadership (AD) if you see any dramatic success like they did in the 70's and 80's. They have the resources, funds, city support/connections (evident with their new stadium), and a large alumni base that's just waiting for something to be excited about.

They won't fire Letti-ponsetto when she was a star athlete there and is married to a former star bball player she wields too much power over her job status.

Lol…and this game was lost by the refs stealing 3 points from Branch before halftime calling a BS travel.

I don't think any team in the country is more unlucky than SJ right now. With a few layups and non BS calls we could be ranked. Instead we are 9-7 and 0-4 thanks to the zebras. Sure you can blame it on SJ not getting it done in other places, but the fact of the matter is SJ wins in a blowout if this was officiated evenly. Goodnight.

Friend of mine tweeted me with :30 to go that the losing coach should have been relegated to Division II like they do in European soccer for the remainder of his contract.

I'm starting to pick up on a trend in Lavinwood's posts regarding officiating...
