I have to ask...how many people were at the SH game? Not sure you would have filled the Creighton Prep high school gym tonight.

Yes, we know Creighton and their fans are God's gift to basketball. Its been about an hour since someone mentioned it on this board, I had almost forgotten.

I know, with all that "at CU we play defense with our feet not our hands" preaching the other day.

Good wins around. Good job by PC and SHU especially to gut both their games out. I don't think the Cotton-at-the-point is going to be a winning recipe for PC; need to get Dunn back healthy for them to be successful at a high level. Depaul looking good so far as well.

But I think the story of the night is clearly.... (drumroll please)... Gtwn scoring 88 pts!!!!???? Maybe JTIII is looking at his dynamic backcourt and has decided to change his offensive philosophy and let the horses loose. For the new BE fans who didn't get a chance to see much of Gtwn under JTIII, their MO is usually a suffocating defense and a 5 pt win in the 50's. Their offense was at times, painfully deliberate. Love it if he has decided to play a more aggressive/open style offense.

DePaul still up by 10 at the under 8 TV timeout, but Cleveland Melvin is on the bench after he rolled his ankle.

The hoyas hit 10 3's tonight after only hitting one in S. Korea. I think the regulation rims helped.

This had nothing to do with Creighton...it has simply to do with SH and the number of fans that were at the game. Did you tune into the game?

what was really interesting tonight was with Josh Smith. Thought they looked much more fluid when he was out of the game. He only had 6 points.

Actually, if you ask me our D is going to be very suspect this season.

Georgetown looked good tonight and DePaul is impressing so far.

Never mind... 16-0 Southern Miss run erases evertyhing good DePaul did early.

Make that 18-0.

Thanks for the coronary issues Seton Hall and Providence, but solid wins. Nice wins by Georgetown and Villanova too. Great work all around. Let's go DePaul!
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
