If I'm tracking this correctly, Xavier has given up double digit leads to their opponent in the first half eight times, including today. They have made a comeback every single time at some point in the second half to undo the deficit, but it puts them in a rough situation. Now they have picked up another loss playing with fire like this. It explains 4 of their 5 losses on the season.

saw that we are a Penn win tonight vs Cornell from being what would only be the 6th Big 5 sweep in history. But the 2nd one in the last 4 years believe it or not(and really only 3 years since Penn didn't play last year).

Gotta say that was the best shot selection I've seen by a Demon team in the entire NBE era. Billy Garrett Jr. and Eli Cain must be angry that their legacy hasn't been preserved.

DePaul wanted it and deserved to win.

Is it the coach? Is it the players? It is both, in some proportion (Captain Obvious). "It" being a refusal to play basketball with a sense of focus and urgency for 40 minutes. Just terrible. They need to kick themselves in their own butts.

We lost at the Cintas Center to DePaul, which was missing 3 key players, as I understand it.

Just no excuse for letting up in this conference.
