Crowd great at Creighton, per usual.

Also very impressed how the jays settled down after going down 12-4. Have played excellent defense here since then. Now 16-13 providence

Georgetown 14,281
Biggest crowd of the season. Yes, bigger than the Kansas game.

Xavier 10,372
Must have sold standing room only, because that is above capacity. Second biggest crowd in X history.

Really? I didn't realize that was their first top 50 RPI win.

Well to be correct, Indiana is 50 today. So that win is a top 50, barely. Florida was the next good win, at 70, but they lost today and will fall. Indiana plays at Illinois tomorrow, where they are 1-11 since 2000.

Creighton just doesn't have the horses. Have to wonder if they shouldn't be going young to start prepping for next season.

Personally I agree. But don't say that in Omaha or you will be jumped on. Being overmatched by 3" at every position is tough regardless of the quality of our kids, which is high.

Truely excellent news for the conference. BTW, great game by you guys. You really made us look bad in the first half.

Gr8 attendance numbers for the day. Also, the nova v Penn game was sold out well in advance at penn's palestra and I assume the creighton game was capacity.

Love that georgetown put 14k+ in the seats for butler. That is a big positive. (now we just need the johnnies to start getting up over 10k)
