Tough spot for a young team like SHU: hostile environment for a young team vs a very seasoned team. They'll learn from it. Certainly won't hurt their resumes and will help their RPI even with a loss.

At this point Nova is a better team than last year. Lose Bell but so far Ennis and Ochefu more than make up for him. I think the best thing for the league is for Nova to go something like 15-3 in conf and lose to 3 BE bubble teams. Their 2 losses didn't really help the league last year as CU was a tourney team anyway. If their 2 losses were to SJU and X, The Johnnies would have been in and X would have been like a 10 seed.

I was watching the Nova game since that was closer, but had the Seton Hall game in the picture in picture. It seemed like they were down by 20 most of the second half, but the final score was only 9. Did they actually show well to come back or was it a situation where the game was over so the superior team went through the motions and let Seton Hall back in the game because they couldn't really be challenged? 9pt loss looks pretty good, but I get the sense that this was a 2pt blow out that Seton Hall prettied up at the end after Wichita called off the dogs, but I wasn't watching closely so I'd love to hear it was otherwise.

Wichita State took their foot off the gas. It was a comfortable lead, and they were going through the motions, as you guessed. Sterling Gibbs--who had a good, second half--made the score look a bit more respectable, as he hit some shots down the stretch.

Are they MVC refs? If so, Hall has no chance. Sorry Creighton fans, but MVC refs have quite the reputation and probably helped you along the way.

Idk, but they did t-up whitehead for hitting a 3.

They gave Whitehead a tech because he kept barking at Wichita State's bench during his scoring barrage.

Did his barking warrant a T? Not sure. But he was barking at their bench, as he kept hitting shots.

Seconds before Whitehead drained his 3 and got the T, Gregg Marshall was standing literaly 3 feet clear out on the court, deliberately being an ass, while Seton Hall was trying to run their offense on that section of the court. When the tech was first called, i thought it was going against Greg...g.

Creighton game is borderline unwatchable. Hate to say it, but we'll get eaten alive if we pull this slow start crap in conference play.

Seton Hall was never going to win. Too tough an opponent in too tough a venue for too young a team. I believe freshmen had all but 2 of their points at halftime (and by freshmen, I mean Whitehead, Delgado and Carrington).

Tough spot for them. Showed fight throughout. Whitehead looks like the real deal.
