And of course the other SJ fans call me negative but now reports are that Thomas likely won't be with the team. See? It's not me being negative it's me living in reality where SJ has terrible luck. According to SJ law, whenever the team gets great news it must be followed by bad news. There shall never be something purely good to happen to the team.

RIP season. We barely knew ye. Without KT the only way we can still make the tourney is to have our guards have monster years. We will have to be very efficient because we won't be getting those second chances without him. That means smart shot attempts and converting whenever open. We really have no front court after Obekpa. How did this happen again?

Where things get interesting for St John's. Right now Ken-Pom's projection is 10-8 19-11(with 1 NIT game not counted). That is square on the bubble. If that was what SJU was going to be with him- and w/o him costs SJU 1 win- that could easily be the difference between NCAA and NIT.

Also keep in mind- 1 of the wins doesn't count- Franklin Pierce.

I agree. Just saying if that is a fair projection of where they were(which seems reasonable)- losing 1 more game could be pretty much it. When everyone is so close- 1 game can make a huge difference.

Once again I am the realist who was correct and others are left looking stupid with their rose colored glasses. No Thomas this year. It will take a miracle to make the NCAA's. Also hearing that Briscoe is a UK lean now. Bye bye Lavin. I can see a 17 win season coming at best. Program is back in shambles. 8-9 finish next year?
