UMass was smoked by an SEC team not name Florida or Kentucky. I knew they were overrated. A-10 is not that good.

UMass and SLU were ridiculously over seeded. A10 is still pretty good though. Two teams have advanced, VCU and GW haven't played yet.

SLU lucked out. We all know where the A10 stands. #exposed

Thanks, hope you didn't take that as a disparaging comment- just had SLU as a 7/8 seed after the early A10 tournament exit. Congrats on the end game strategy, will give that to Crews.

the true barometer will be how many teams (if any) advance to the sweet 16...

right now, the A-10 is shooting par:

Dayton won a tough game, and deserved to win.
St. Louis pulled one out of the fire; they won when that had no business winning.
St Joe's lost a 50/50 game that could have gone either way. UConn got that critical rebound and the 3 point play at the end of regulation. that play was the game.
UMass got run out of the gym.

Tonight, I think VCU wins and GW goes down...So Dayton, St. Louis, and VCU will play on. If 2 of them get to the sweet 16, I think that validates the league's 6 bids. If all 3 do, that's just gravy. If 1 or none make it, I think the criticism that the league is overrated is valid.

I think if it's 1, but they go to the elite 8, that would also validate them... Also, if they go 2-0 tonight, with both GW and VCU winning- that would go a long way as well...

I thought SLU was a 6 or 7 after Bonaventure. Jim Crews made some stuff up, and it worked out. He even channelled VCU. GL to the Rams tonight.
