It's beginning to feel like X is primed for the upset. :D

Yeah, the more people keep saying that, the more I keep thinking it's going to be another ho-hum 30-point game for Dougie and a 10-point win for the Jays...

Somehow GW held him under 10 pts., the only less than double digit game all year. I hoped we watched the tape, not our tape where he scored 35 or some ridiculous number.

ps. we also watched a national player of the year every home game.

This is the beginning of Xavier's blitzkrieg run to the tournament as they win out for the regular season! :D

Hey Bill:

How about giving me some of that Kool Aid you're drinking?

Anyway, it's a great day to be a Xavier fan! The way I see it, it's a win-win situation for fans. It's a great opportunity for a huge win, and even if the X-men come up short (hopefully it's at least close), we get to see Dougie, Wragge, and one of the best "teams" in the country live.

Why Kool Aid? Xavier's very capable of winning today. Creighton's a beatable team. They've already lost to Providence and St. John's, neither of whom is any better than Xavier.

Teams often play their best when everything is on the line. There's a lot more at stake for Xavier in this game than there is for Creighton. I expect Xavier to rise to the occasion in their house with an intense atmosphere.

We'll find out today what this Xavier team is made of. I think they've got the right stuff. If they win today, it will be absolutely insane next week agains Villanova. Complete bedlam. I say they take that one too.

Jays not shooting it well. Zierden's injury looked bad.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

If Xavier can keep this up they can consider their ticket punched.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Cold shooting, stupid turnovers, lost Zierden.

Throw in a torrid hot Xavier and that was a forgettable half for Creighton.

Semaj Christon is one of the best guards I've ever seen at finishing around the rim. His body control and the way he gets his shot off is crazy.

I doubt X keeps shooting like they did in the 1st half. Their defense is going to have to win this one.

I don't understand how X can lose Wragge and let him him get off shots. Dude has ridiculous range.
