Don’t know how that happened. Booth hero ball killed us in the game in Philly but they weren’t falling for him tonight. Watch out for JOHNNIES.

Congrats St. John's fans. Your team is not a great matchup for Nova, but I'm hoping for a rematch at the BET. That was the loudest garden crowd I've ever heard.

Nova almost never coughs up a big lead. When the game got tight down the stretch, I was trying to remember when the last time we blew a huge lead. Fox did the research for me later and apparently it's been over 3 years since Nova's blown a double-digit lead. Big props to SJU as Nova is not an easy team to make a comeback on, and oh, right, a bit of luck there with Simon's 3/4 court prayer.

Well, two things come from today's results. The Johnnies will have to fall apart not to dance now, and we can remove Creighton from consideration. It's basically a question of Butler, and Seton Hall now.

To be fair that full court shot had a better chance of going in than Simon’s wide open corner 3s

I've always believed that SJU has the personnel to simply smother our backcourt of Booth and Gillespie. More surprising is Paschall's struggle tonight.

Congrats to the Johnnies on becoming the second team to beat Nova at MSG since realignment ! ;)

Seriously though, great win guys. The league is a lot closer to 4 bids than it was yesterday.

If you told me beforehand that Booth, Paschall, & Gillespie would go a combined 5-30 from the floor and 2-21 from three with 12 TO's, I would've thought we'd lose by 20. Hard to figure Nova was up 19 in the 1st half, we played very well for the first 15 minutes, then shit the bed.

when Nova was up big in the first half they missed a handful of wide open 3s. At the time I did not think they would matter because I did not think SJU had a comeback in them. But in the end, missing those shots that wouldve made it a 20+ lead were huge
