The bigger joke is Georgetown's attendance, WTF?

Other than the Syracuse game, Georgetown doesn't draw. Don't understand why.

Great, now that Monmouth is 1-30 vs the Big East we'll be flooded with Hawks fans expecting a league invite

Georgetown needs a new staff even if that means divorcing itself from part of its past. This clearly isn't working, its the same thing every year,

Monmouth is not only winning on the road against gtown, but they're pulling away. they are too quick to play man to man and shoots too well to play zone. just a tough match up.

very disappointing for sure. however, gtown will still win their share of games against top BE teams. I wouldn't bet against them making the tourney.

we're going to have to. 4 losses now, with game @ UConn left OOC. Have to go at least 10-8 to get in right now. With how brutal the league is- that's not going to be easy...

I was banking on Georgetown to be one of the 5-6 teams to make the tourney. How damaging is this loss their tourney chances? It just feels like they are walking a very thin line with some losses(this included) that have already put them behind the eight ball. Georgetown is a Flagship of this conference and they NEED to be good.

this year reminds me of 2 years ago. Right now to have any chance, have to between UConn and BE play get 10 wins. That would get us to 18-13. Then maybe have to win a game in the BET.

Growing up in DC, Georgetown was always an easy ticket outside of they huge games. A large market with pro teams and a transient population (military, politics, etc...) as well as DC splitting the college basketball fan demographic with UMD, UVA, Tech and to a lesser extent GW, VCU and GMU. Then obviously all the B1G and ACC grads in the city. At least that's my view.
