Care to provide a link? Some of those are public if I'm not mistaken.

It's all colleges/universities. Not sure where he got the idea it was just privates; especially considering he listed 5 or so public schools.

I think you are correct as I view the current list I see the U of Georgia, U of Maryland amongst others which are public. However as I looked this morning at the Forbes site for college rankings I saw on the left side of the page under Other Lists a heading "Top 100 Private Colleges". Tonight that heading is missing and so to are headings for regional college lists ( i.e. Top Southern Colleges etc..) Below I have posted the current list on Forbes.com.

Davidson is ranked in the top 100 for the A10 also UNC is a public school.
