Cal was upset by Utah, hurting the chances of another bubble team.

IMO, CU is a 4 seed at this point. If they beat PC and win at least one in the BET, they are a 3. So far, they haven't lost at home (knock on wood) and are over .500 on the road in conference. That's what they needed to do, but the committee has shown that they take the last 5-10 games of the season into consideration. That kills CU and StL. Both of them are losing at the wrong time.

I really hope I am wrong, but VillAnova is going to get screwed. They are a 1 seed. They deserve it. For some reason i think they are going to get a 2, and that would be a shame. Only 3 losses to two good teams, but they still don't seem to be getting the respect they deserve. Some of the losses in the past couple days should help them get a 1 seed, but I just have a feeling they will end up on the 2 line.

Right now, Villanova is a 1-seed. If they win out and take the Big East championship, as I think they will, then they stay a 1-seed.

Right now Creighton is a 2-seed. The committee has deemphasized the last 10 games, so I don't think that will be held against them. If they win out until the Big East finals, as I think they will, then they're either a 2 or a 3 depending on what happens in the other conference tournaments.

If CU makes the BET finals, I think they will win it. The big problem for CU looking at the 2 seed in the BET is that they will have at least 3 teams on their side of the bracket who match up well against them. SJU, XU, GT and PC all make out to be scary match-ups for CU. If they make the finals, I don't see a scary match-up. If CU makes the finals I think they are fine, but I don't like their chances of getting that far at a neutral site.

Would be very difficult to see Villanova getting less than a 2 seed now. If Villanova wins out and beats Creighton, and neither Kansas nor Wisconsin win their leagues, Nova gets a 1 seed.

Nova has 1 RPI top 50 conference win using ESPN's RPI. It lost 2 chances against Creighton, and has one more chance tonight, but the rest of the conference hasn't given Villanova any showcase games. The 3 times the college basketball audience was most focused on Villanova, it lost by 16+ all 3 times.
