In other Big East player news:
Hoya Nate Lubick got a broken nose at Butler on Saturday.
Hoya Jabril Trawick got a broken jaw at Providence last Wednesday.
On each play, the GU player was called for a foul. Lubick was defending against a Barlow fast break layup, took an elbow, and got whistled. Trawick was throwing a shoulder into Friar big man, leaned in a little too low, and hit into his elbow.

Other injury news:
Spencer Dinwiddie, star on Colorado, is out for the year with a torn ACL.

The Nate Lubick one was horrendous. Literally pulled up to not foul the Butler Player on the Fast Break. Gets elbowed in the Nose and gets the foul called on him. Then they go to the monitor review the play and don't call anything for the elbow to the face. In a normal setting I'd be ok with not giving a flagrant to the Butler player since it was a basketball move, but since it was clear they got the foul call on Lubick wrong as a ref I would've called the flagrant to even our their initial bad call.

Yeah, the Lubick call was bad. He was totally conceding the layup. Plus Lubick never returned.
With Trawick, I think he was trying to ring a PC guy's bell (Batts), and he came in at too low an angle. Batts was looking away and got blindsided. Batts was fine though.

Beating Creighton will require a better game than Butler's played all year and for Creighton to be off. Really could be 0-6 after this week and then the wheels could start coming off. Hate it, but this is a talented league, and the Bulldogs are missing it in some crucial spots.

I disagree, Butler is as talented as anyone else in the league and I can tell you Creighton fans are just as scared of this game as you. Like Coach McD said, y'all have been about as unlucky as you can possibly get.

No disrespect to Butler, but they are most certainty not as talent as anyone else in the BE. They have a good young nucleus, and are playing everyone tough, especially since pretty much everyone wrote them off after Stevens left and they lost R. Jones. While I would agree completely with them being the best 0-4 conference team in the country, they are clearly not as talented as Nova, Creighton, Xavier, St. John's, and Georgetown. After Dunham, Woods, Marshall, and Chrabascz no one else they have scares anyone(Brown has a chance to be something). Again no disrespect intended, they're an excellent addition to the league and I believe they will get back on track very shortly.

Butler has a long history of upsets on the road. Remember they played in the Horizon for years and the only quality games to be had were on the road and they won many.
Prediction: Butler 75 Creighton 69, sending the Omaha fans back to their farms with there heads down.

Can't speak to the prediction, but there are no farms in Omaha.

Oh, and it's "their," heads not "there" heads. ;) Or do you say, "Them there heads" in Ohio?

Creighton 80, Butler 60.

Creighton is confident and riding high. Butler's confidence is hanging by the thread I believe Creighton will break that thread tonight. Definitely not been a good year for Butler so far.

Now I see why everone on here was saying that Dayton fans are just as bad as Wichiturd fans!

Hope we never let them into the league either!
