In other Big East player news:
Hoya Nate Lubick got a broken nose at Butler on Saturday.
Hoya Jabril Trawick got a broken jaw at Providence last Wednesday.
On each play, the GU player was called for a foul. Lubick was defending against a Barlow fast break layup, took an elbow, and got whistled. Trawick was throwing a shoulder into Friar big man, leaned in a little too low, and hit into his elbow.
Other injury news:
Spencer Dinwiddie, star on Colorado, is out for the year with a torn ACL.
The Nate Lubick one was horrendous. Literally pulled up to not foul the Butler Player on the Fast Break. Gets elbowed in the Nose and gets the foul called on him. Then they go to the monitor review the play and don't call anything for the elbow to the face. In a normal setting I'd be ok with not giving a flagrant to the Butler player since it was a basketball move, but since it was clear they got the foul call on Lubick wrong as a ref I would've called the flagrant to even our their initial bad call.

Beating Creighton will require a better game than Butler's played all year and for Creighton to be off. Really could be 0-6 after this week and then the wheels could start coming off. Hate it, but this is a talented league, and the Bulldogs are missing it in some crucial spots.

I disagree, Butler is as talented as anyone else in the league and I can tell you Creighton fans are just as scared of this game as you. Like Coach McD said, y'all have been about as unlucky as you can possibly get.

Prediction: Butler 75 Creighton 69, sending the Omaha fans back to their farms with there heads down.

Farms? You ought to visit Omaha sometime.
