DePaul is a dirty team. Thugs. And these announcers are terrible. The mugging of GG was incredibly over the top. I hope DePaul loses every game from here on out.

How did the injury occur? Any video for those of us who didn't get to see it? Calling DePaul dirty surprises me, but I did not see the play.

Rico Marrero and Gibbs went after a lose ball under the basket. As they were both on the ground it looked like Marrero's knee hit Gibbs knee. Thats what I can remember but the camera angle didnt show it for sure unless Gibbs twisted it on his way down.

I watched it. Marrero was trying to rip the ball out of Gibbs' hands, and their legs got tangled.

And yeah, "your" Jays will beat us. Congratulations. Everyone beats us.

What is "Thuggary?" Did Marrero put a mask on and put a gun to Gibbs and demanded the ball?

I saw two guys giving it all they had fighting for a loose ball. Unfortunately Grant got the short end of the deal. Didn't look like thuggery to me from a lifelong Creighton fan who doesn't really appreciate physical style of BBall. But that's just my take . . .

I don't know your guys, but whoever it was kept grinding after the play was over. I may be too sensitive after seeing Nate Funk getting screwed by your guys a few years ago, but it seems to be a pattern. Glad to see us pounding you.

This hasn't even been that physical of a game. It was just a freak play going for a loose ball. Relax.

Yeah, on the Gibbs injury, Marrero was aggressive but it wasn't dirty. First I thought Gibbs was exaggerating the push to get the foul, but then his head landed hard... then on the replay his knee got knocked.

McDermott was in the high post running around Ryschkoff (sp)... both guys had their arms raised and McDermott's left arm got caught in the DePaul guy's arm... he's wincing but looks fine thankfully...
