Realtime RPI has them going 9-19(1 win better than Ken Pom when you factor in 2 D2 wins in addition). With that a 234 projected RPI. Hardly a fine RPI or a good road win. A decent road win is the one they got @ St Joe's a few weeks ago(projected RPI 115 at 16-14)

If we lose even 1 of those 11 games, it's a problem.

Yeah nothing but bad losses on that list. I will say that the new schools need to get rid of these away games at schools like Long Beach. They are no win situations. Butler plays at Ball State and Evansville this year, they almost lost the first and I could see a similar thing happening again

To be fair, Long Beach was part of bracketbusters agreement. Unfortunately, we still have some stinker road games that were agreed to prior to joining Big East like @loyola Chicago, @north Texas and @tulsa.

the one good thing about the win is it counts as 1.4 wins since it was on the road. Better than the one coming up vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff, that'll only count as .6 wins for RPI purposes.

Games to worry about are PC V. URI and SJ V. Fordham at the least. Fordham always plays us very hard...I can't think of a game that has been easy for us in recent memory against them. In fact, we lost to Fordham when we beat all those top 10 teams and finished at #18 in 2011. They are always a thorn in our side just like the Big 5 might be for Nova given the local rivalry which makes players on the mid majors go all out for the win. Don't get me wrong, on paper we should win by 10+, but I would not be shocked if we lost in OT or won by a small margin. They have our former recruit we didn't show enough love to: Jon Severe who is averaging over 20 PPG and hitting 3's at around a 40% clip as a freshman. He put up 30 this year in one game. You know he's going to want to rub our faces in us not going after him hard enough. He was a 3-star kid but scouts said his shooting was "outstanding" and that he is just a natural scorer. That's exactly what we needed and we let mid major Fordham get him. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us, but the way the program has been recently, it may very well.

The real big game we need so desperately is #4 Cuse. They might even be #2 or #3 by the time we play them, who knows? I think even with an average SJ team, the law of averages would tell us that we are way overdue for a win against them. It's been over a decade. PC did it vs. #1 Pitt a few years back, Nova knocked off top 5 teams L'Ville and Cuse as an unranked team last yr, etc. It's our turn to give them a big fat L and I'm not referring to marijuana. Something tells me we will get blown out by 20 as per usual because that's what they almost always do to us, but deep down I have a glimmer of hope that we can knock them off. It would be one of those wins I'd remember for the rest of my life and may only see a few times in my lifetime. Hopefully we show up ready to play unlike previous years where we get blown out.

Nebraska at Creighton always stresses me out. Nebraska is never any good, but those games are usually more complicated because of the rivalry. They are truly a mid major school playing in a big time conference, and treat the Creighton game as their Super Bowl. Creighton never has anything to gain by playing that game, but always a lot to lose. Should be a cruise control type win by midway through the second half, but I'll be nervous until the final horn sounds.
