Agree. Especially with home and home.

In the old BE, a team could catch a break and get its toughest opponents at home only in a favorable scheduling year. This time there's no aboiding playing the best at their gym.

I love the home and home setup! This is the way basketball is supposed to be played!

I agree and really love the fact that every tam has a home and away with each other. I know that one day we may go to 12 teams, but the 10 team format is great.

As much as I'd like SLU in the league, the 10-team schedule is the best. Nobody's going to get through with fewer than 4 losses this year. The thing with the odd schedule is that it sets up some anomalies, so that the regular season champ can be decided by who misses road games to contenders. Home and homes are a grind, along with the fact that you have to make all the worst road trips. Creighton people used to hate going to Terra Haute to play Indiana State in the Valley. Does that make Omaha the Terra Haute of this league? :o

Here are the final results. I will try to keep these somewhere so we can see how close we were when the season ends.

10th place - DePaul
9th place -Seton Hall
8th place - Butler
7th place - Xavier
6th place - Providence
5th place - St. Johns
4th place - Villanova
3rd place - Creighton
2nd place - Georgetown
1st place - Marquette
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

I'd drop Butler to 10th and move DePaul and Seton Hall up one each. Then switch Villanova and Creighton and Georgetown and Marquette and you have my top 10.

Umm top 10 or rankings for the conference because if that's your top 10 I gotta say you might be a bit too optimistic about this conference.
