I was talking to my father in NH prior to the game and he was like, wtf, where is the game. Then my uncle in NH called and told me he wasn't getting the game either. Then a PC fan posted in the game thread that he wasn't getting the game either. So seems like at least all of eastern New England (which is where 90% of the NE population resides).

I believe it ended up being one of the few games that CBS streams live. There was a "Watch Live" red box at the top of the score within the CBS App on my phone. I didn't actually try it since I was at the game.

Here in the Raleigh area we don't always get the CBS national game because the local CBS affiliate caries a lot of the Jefferson Pilot / Raycom ACC game. I am pretty sure it was on though because I would have heard otherwise if it wasn't from my daughter.

Didn't the Coach K game with St John's get like almost 2 million viewers?
(edit looked and that game got 1.4 rating with 2.165 million viewers)

might be this years best game on Fox. Great rating for sure- helped by the captive audience from the snowstorm. Maybe should have started at 12:30 so the OT part would have been before the NFL game started(and that game got best rating for a conference championship I think since the Drive way back in '87).

It doesn't matter when the overtime started. That's not how the ratings world. Don't have to watch the whole game for a viewer to count.

Really, all an 800k number means is that 400 people with little black boxes registered the game as something they watched. That's why I never understand why you micro-analyze ratings so much.
