2nd lowest scoring Pac 12 game in the last 40 years. Only a 18-17 game back in 1981(so pre shot clock) with Oregon St and Stanford lower.

what is bad for them- Washington St won the game and their RPI dropped by 18 because ASU is so bad. lol.

lol It's going to be funny seeing how many power conference teams are Q4 when the NET comes out.

If anything the ACC - B10 challenge is proving that neither conference is anywhere close to where National pundits like to hype them. Michigan gets dismantled by UNC, who has struggled themselves in the early going. Out of the bunch Purdue and Duke are clearly elite; maybe the Illini, OSU or UVA can eventually get there. But the rest of both leagues feel like a bunch of 7-10 seeds come tourney time. If either is a 7 or more bid league then so is the BE.

Thought this was good analysis from the ACC-Big Ten challenge- from the CSN board...
B1G wins 8-6. But it easily could have been a blowout.

Lot of close games
3 OT Games (all won by ACC)
2 one point games(both won by B1G)
4 games with 10 or higher point margin (3-1 B1G).

Thinking it's going to be good for the Big East that the Big Ten won like that.

B10 teams that were in the BE challenge:
Michigan lost to UNC by 21
Ohio St beat Duke by 5
Illinois beat Notre Dame by 10
Michigan St beat Louisville by 9
Wisconsin beat Ga Tech by 4
Indiana lost to Syracuse by 2 in 2OT
Rutgers beat Clemson by 10
Nebraska lost to NC State by 4 in 4OT

So looks like 5-3 in the 8 games.

I guess Mizzou didn't want to one-up Bobby Hurleys? They were stuck on 7 for a long time, but did go on a scoring spree to finish the half with 14 points.

WCC with another good win tonight at Saint Mary's beats Utah St.

Going to be really interesting to see where the WCC is NET wise on Monday. I know lookin at the schedule for the Gaels of their 16 conference games- 6 are with BYU, San Fran, and Gonzaga. So only 10 games against the weaker teams in the league.

The WCC could easily be one that gets 4 teams in the tourney if things play out right.

That league is definitely looking good this year... especially with how bad the PAC12/ACC have been as a whole. The MWC is looking good too.

Hey, I don't mind seeing the PAC12/ACC fall apart

P.S: I'm really glad you moved on from the obsession with the AAC. It took time... but finally!!!

When Stever moves on from the AAC being the SEC football of basketball...well, it's time for the AAC to be buried for good (as if the defections alone weren't enough). We barely knew ye.

I think Stever roots for non-P5 basketball conferences, and the AAC showed they don't care at all about basketball with their recent expansion. They totally ignored teams like VCU or Gonzaga and went all-in with mediocre football schools... schools so irrelevant that I honestly can't even remember them off the top of my head.

For a single year the AAC was better than the Big East (year 1 when UConn won it all), but today the Big East is the clear #1 non-P5 conference (and top 3/4 overall on average). AAC isn't even #2 anymore, especially once Cincinnati, Houston and UCF leave.
