Out of Conference games for next yr

I remember reading something where the Big East asked its 10 teams to not schedule any potential expansion candidate schools. That's why neither Dayton nor Saint Louis are on our schedules. But this might have been just a rumor.

Why? What difference would it make if they played them or not? I thought the whole expansion thing died down for now.

I agree with you. I just thought I remembered an article ckaiming the schedule thing (would have been at least a year ago i read it). I did a quick Google but can't find it. Maybe it was from the UD Pride site?
