I actually went to Agganis Arena for a hockey game a couple of years ago. The place is gorgeous, and easy to get to right on the subway line (above ground at that point on Commonwealth Ave). The place was packed vs UNH, even in the ring of luxury boxes. On tv it looks small and pretty dark, but in person it seemed really big and there was a wide concourse. Too bad BU hoops draws no one. Would be easily packed with Friar fans.

It will be interesting if VCU wins. IMO, they need to advance to the Sweet 16 (or farther) to try and pull ahead of (what I perceive) Dayton for #12. I think the institutional fit is too much to overlook.
