You didn't answer the question. The topic is Tuesday when boxing will be on FS1. Do you want boxing to conflict with basketball on Tuesday nights? My answer is, no.
Solid move to have live events at 11pm ET after basketball DH for boxing.

A few things....
1- why does it have to be Tuesday?
2- Last year there weren't doubleheaders on FS1 every single Tuesday. 1-2 times there were no Tuesday games, and then another couple there was only a 7pm game.
3- Fox should be wanting FSL to grow. It getting pre-empted as much as it does doesn't help it at all. Part of why ESPN is so big is that folks know they can turn on ESPN at 11pm and almost always Sports Center is going to be on.

Also, we have a lot of games that get syphoned off to CBSSN. Why couldn't that be on Tuesday's?

I'm guessing Tuesdays for boxing is that it avoids NBA and NHL Wednesday's and Thursday Night Football.
I see your point on Fox Sports Live, but they should just move it to FS2. I think live programming is more important that Fox Sports Live.

I understand Thursday with the NBA/NFL(Thursday is a bigger NBA night than Wednesday)- but "scared" of the NHL? I just don't see that..

FS2 isn't really an option. It's not even in 50 million households, and in at least some households, it's not even in HD.

I mean look at prime time last 2 weeks....
ESPN gets 460k for sports center. FS1 gets 138k for FSL.

ratings came out today for last week.... shows a bit of what I'm talking about with FSL.

for prime time- ESPN is up 728k-458k. So up by 61-39% roughly...
for entire day though- ESPN is up 420k-145k. So up by 74-26% roughly.

ESPN's sportscenter draws about 608k viewers
FS1's Fox Sports Live draws about 97k viewers

Fox needs FSL to get up to speed. Pre-empting it a lot doesn't help out at all.

what is really sad. ESPNU ran replays of 4 of the top college football games from last year from 10pm-1am. Those 4 averaged 112.5k viewers per game.

I don't watch any highlight shows, but replays of old college football games.

FS1 is showing it's first NWSL (Women's soccer league game tonight). It will be interesting to see what the ratings are, anything over 100K would be a success in my book.

The ESPN2 numbers way off. No way in hell they average only 25k viewers per day or 41k viewers in prime time. Last 2 weeks- ESPN2 in all day is 179k and 213k. Prime time is 237k and 375k.

And just funny that he says they should catch ESPN in a few years. When you consider that FS1's #1 thing of all time- the playoff game had as good viewership as the little league world series game that Mone Davis started.

Just saw that NBC has resigned the EPL for 6 more years- thru the 2021-22 season.

It's kind of interesting that they did it thru then- as the 2022-23 season is the one that could get really ravaged by the World Cup in Qatar.
