That may turn out to be true, but it's not inconsequential. Next season your hoyas will likely be replacing an all-conference PG with a freshman and you may loose 3 big men in Lubick, Moses & possibly Josh Smith with no true big men currently coming in to replace them. Long story short, next year will likely be a rebuilding year, where just making the NCAAT would be a solid goal. I know injuries are part of the game but I do think there's a huge difference between a healthy Whit playing with this year's team vs. next season.

Georgetown doesn't rebuild we reload.

Also Moses and Smith both could both be back next year. (I doubt smith will be because I expect him to try for the NBA after this season) but moses could be brought back for his redshirt senior season.

Rothstein agrees :D

"I've always reiterated how effective JT3 is at annually replenishing talent. And he does it in different ways. Style never stays the same...In essence, Georgetown lost Otto Porter but gained Josh Smith + Reggie Cameron. Back court remains intact. Strong core of veterans."
