Another ridiculous take on this. Nobody is comparing extremes. The question is would you rather finish 2nd in the regular season and win the BET or win the regular season and lose the championship game in the BET. That is a better comparison.

Agreed. It's easy to draw up ridiculous scenarios favoring either one. The best way to look at it is if you can win 1 and finish 2nd in the other, which do you want?

And as I said before, you beat the Doug team and won the BET. Yaaaay. I guarantee I had more fun watching us have our season that year than I did had I had your season where you squeaked into the Dance because you beat us.

I dunno, Providence finished tied for third that year and Creighton finished second. I'd happily drop a line in the regular season and take the trophy/banner every time.

IMO, only those who have at least one of each BEast banners can effectively comment on this topic. The reality is that the NBE still has that new car smell with a Nova air freshener hanging from the review.

As far as the 3 new members go, we here on Victory Parkway are very happy to be the 1st to hang one, but you really need to complete the set to get that perpetual smile.....obviously a FINAL FOUR BANNER or better is the ultimate "bling"!!

I just want to point out that starting next season, the regular season will be 20 games and will mean that much more to every team in the conference.

But yeah, back to talking which A10 team is the best candidate and why the AAC doomed.
