St Louis U is fine, just as they are. They are not likely to ever be Nova and we don't need them to be worldbeaters. We need them to keep DePaul and SJU company in the bottom tier. Go SLU. If they should improve- fine. Boost the middle tier!

That's not quite true. If by some miracle UConn had gotten the P5 invite, St. Louis' chances would have risen dramatically, provided they could string some NCAA bids together. There was always the chance that Fox would have pushed for expansion, and St. Louis would have been in the mix. UConn coming kills that.
