Frustrating tourney result once again. Same pattern. It's not easy being a Friar fan.

Good luck to my remaining Big East brothers. Let's get 4 BE teams in the Final Four.

It was a rough finish, but still a great season for PC.

That said, Cooley's comments tonight after the game wouldn't give me a lot of optimism if I was a Friars fan. Time will tell.

Agree with everything here. Another terrific season for Providence, but it doesn't sound like Cooley will return. I don't know if there's any mutual interest but it seems to me like Chris Mack could be a good fit at Providence. In fact, I'm not sure they miss a beat at all if Mack comes on board.

was listening to him with Fanta and Goodman on an online show the other night- and Mack was saying he was sitting things out this cycle. Sounds like his middle daughter will be a senior in HS next year... (which is amazing, since I remember hearing years back of him coaching her in 4th grade basketball).

PC's late season collapse reminds me a lot of Seton Hall's last year, after which we learned that Kevin Willard already had one foot out the door the whole time.

At least the Friars were competitive in their tourney game.
