That is not a good source...Pitino to G'Town was big up until 2-3 days ago. It's SJ or UCF now most likely. SJ in clear lead.

Thinking of Wahab... cheating azzhole Mark Turgeon, the punk, definitely tampered to get him to Maryland.

Also, i'm sure nothing weird happened when Akinjo transferred to Arizona.

To me, Ewing's lack of success at Georgetown had a lot to do with him not being a tyrranical azzhole. He's always been a humble, modest gentleman, whereas in college hoops you often have to be an aggressive cut-throat major-league jerk. Just my opinion.

Of course, it's tough to just be thrown into a high-major college job without getting some seasoning in the lower ranks (Donovan at Marshall, Cooley at Fairfield, Hurley at Wagner, J Wright at Hofstra).

So, a combination of those 2 paragraphs.

I’m surprised that Chris Mack’s name isn’t brought up more. With Pitino likely going to St. john’s I can’t think of a better option for GT

Huh? Mr. Smith goes to Washington? The University's culture will probably be a consideration for both sides on a new HC. Knowing what I know about Mack....not close to a fit. Georgia Tech? Much more likely, but Chris Mack wipes his ass with $100 bills and could be done.

From Jeff Goodman:
Penn State’s Micah Shrewsberry has emerged as one of the leading candidates for the Georgetown opening, source told @Stadium.

I’m told Rick Pitino is currently not under consideration.

This is a strong possibility, however he has built a nice foundation and the program is trending up. The key would be money because leaving any HC job in one of the 2 super conferences is unnecessarily risky. Can one assume that GU has pockets deep enough, that PSU has no chance in a bidding war?

How much of a factor is it at Georgetown to hire an African-American coach?

Primo Spears is in the transfer portal. Too bad. He was pretty impressive.

Twitter rumblings that Brey might be the choice.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
