1 advantage Marquette has is before they play Creighton they get a bye. that could play a huge role.

give Shaheen Holloway a lot of credit. in year 1 he already established an identity for his team. I think they are the toughest and scrappiest team in the league.

And most inconsistent. It feels like they always either win by 20 or lose by 20 without much in between.

no regular season. Marquette plays on 2/15. Creighton has to play on 2/14, and 2/18 before the game on the 21st. Oh and 2/14 is Providence and 2/18 is St John's(not a good team but one that will make you run a lot).

That’s a great point. In addition, Creighton’s games with Providence & St. John’s, leading up to the Marquette game are both on the road while Marquette’s game against Xavier on the 15th is at home. So, yes, Creighton could very well be tired after all that travel and Marquette could be well rested.
