Cam Whitmore is good. Would have helped if he was available early in the season. If Moore is near healthy, this becomes a very dangerous team.

Marquette define flipped the script with an 11-2 run. Impressive.

I know Villanova lost a lot and Whitmore is coming back from injury and Justin Moore is out, but Neptune is in over his head. He is giving off major Travis Steele vibes through 14 games.

I wonder what makes you feel that way. I didn't see anything particularly noticeable, but anytime a young coach is trying to fill the shoes of a legend, it's a difficult task.

Nova is atrocious offensively. The ball movement is bad. Nova is dead last in assists per game in the Big East; 9th in field goal percentage, and points per game. They are also 8th in three point shooting. The ball does not move and it is all one on one, or sleeping in the streets from three.

On defense they are dead last in steals, blocks, and 10th in rebounding. Effort and fundamentals have not been to Villanova's standard.

Watching Nova it doesn't look like clear roles have been established, guys are doing too much individually, especially Daniels. I also think Arch's brother needs to be on the bench. He is averaging 28+ minutes and giving Nova nothing at all.

Steele let the inmates run the asylum and was too nice. Miller is at Xavier to coach, hold players accountable, and win. Neptune needs to stop playing nice guy and hold players accountable and coach.

On Nunge playing through illness today. Miller also referenced Colby Jones from a couple weeks ago when in the UC or WVU game, he played through a flu or flu-like illness.

Way too early to make any kind of judgment on Neptune, but he is a lot calmer than Jay Wright. Wright obviously commanded the respect of his players, and refs if we're being honest.

Wright would rip into guys. Haven't seen much of that from Neptune yet.

Wright was so good at working the refs. It was impressive.

Not Big East related or even hoops related, but holy crap the CFP games yesterday were tremendous theater. If my team was among the 4 playing, I would have gone from agony to ecstasy and back again multiple times throughout each game.
