Love the fight, but this team just can't shoot. 0-20 here we come.

And not that it matters because I'm sure we'd have missed anyway, but how on earth did Jones get away with traveling like 4 times on that inbound with 5 seconds left?

Huge double overtime win for Providence over #24 Marquette. They’ve won 4 in a row with back-to-back BE wins to start the conference season, putting them into the conversation among BE contenders for the postseason. Suddenly they and Seton Hall are going in opposite directions.

This is not the first time in their undefeated streak that the Huskies have been challenged. The fact that they were trailing in the middle of the 2nd half doesn’t really tell the story. One of the things that makes this team special is their depth. They had 8 players in double figures for minutes played last night. Georgetown had 6. They simply wear other teams down. It’s not surprising that they took control of the game in the 4th quarter and won going away by 11.

I mean, by the slimmest of margins, but yeah, I guess.

Horseshoes and hand grenades...

PC is now 71-29 (.710) under Ed Cooley in games decided by 5 points or less since the 2013-14 season. Friars also now 27-1 in its last 28 home games. The near sold-out AMP was rockin' and rowdy last night even with students on break. Becoming one of the best home court advantages in the country.

I'm not saying Seton Hall's any good this year - we're not. I'm just saying I'd hold off on scheduling the parade when your best 2 wins are barely beating us and then needing 2OT despite a 49-19 free throw edge.

Providence doing what they need to do right now. 2 games won that could easily be Q1 wins end of the year to include a road win and a home win against one of the top 3-4 teams in the league. that's all goodness right now for them.

Compare to Seton Hall who is 0-2 with a home loss in there and already with 4 OOC losses. It does feel like the 2 teams have kind of flipped positions here.
