1. Would have been one helluva game with X at PC...

2. Momentum killer for BOTH programs

3. News reports say it was a player (preliminary) so it wasn't the coach, but man.... talk about bad optics with Steele going to Dana's and you know that is going to be all over social media...That is too bad-- I happen to think its cool he does that for the cincy wins--although this year, maybe not...

Chap,
He walked in with full mask, dropped a stack of cash, said we own this city....and left. I guess someone will try and make something of it but it's a nothing burger.

Besides, early word is it's a player.

Hey Nova guys,
Does this X team seem familiar? I mean, is it possible that Coach Steele was mesmerized watching yous' guys flooring 4 shooters and 1 big, to parlay mass success? Me thinks he very well did and X is now the new you. It may take some time (unfortunately this season will never be a normal one) but X is going to be SEISMIC going forward.

BTW....How did we get ZFree out of your own backyard? :o

Nova doesn’t have room on their roster for every good player, fortunately.

CBS Sports is maintaining a database of the notable games affected by cancellations related to the pandemic. Unfortunately, each iteration of their updated database is published as a new article with a different title, so there is not a ‘refreshable’ webpage which contains updated information – you have to look for the appropriate article. Below are links to the CBS Sports homepage and their latest update, which was on Wednesday December 9th.

Eh not really, plenty of teams field 4 shooters. Nova's unique trait is guards living in the paint and extremely deliberate pace.

Wasn't Freemantle closer to Seton Hall? He'd probably start on our team, but I don't think Nova recruited him.

Looks like the league is taking Christmas off before resuming 12/30 which is good for the kids. League also scheduled two gaps in case they needed to rescheduled games.

NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference has announced the remainder of its men’s basketball schedule from the end of December through early March. Tipoff times and television coverage are being determined and will be announced soon.

Due to expected challenges created by the pandemic, the BIG EAST and its institutions scheduled a concentrated group of 23 conference games from December 11-23 as a plan against possible scheduling challenges later in the season.

As a result, the schedule for February is lighter than usual with room for possible re-scheduled games.

Interesting. No make up of the Uconn @ Georgetown game. Any other teams not playing twice? Maybe they'll add it to one of the break periods.

SJU @ Nova scheduled for December 30th has been postponed, not covid related.

So Jay just calls up Val and says “hey I think our guys could use an extended Christmas vacation” and the league approves it? It’s good to be the king.

As a selfish fan, wish they would keep playing, but I get it... they are one of the few teams that havent shut down at all and been locked down since july. And, i guess he does know what he is doing!
