Wow, wasting no time throwing the heavy insults. Comparing one of the most successful programs in the country to a mid major who won an NIT once?

It’s a joke about obnoxious fan bases. Lighten up, Francis.

I actually found the Wichita fans to be quite pleasant when SHU hosted them a few years ago.

You want to talk about obnoxious fan bases, nobody come close to Syracuse.

Yes sir, it was fun while it lasted. Da privacy t'ing...

Welcome home UConn, back to the future and the Big East. You've made the east coast contingent of the conference very happy as they've been creaming their jeans for months now.
Just be competitive and attempt to build your program back to champeenship status. That will suffice. Welcome home.

I wonder if ESPN's Lunardi will now start counting UConn as a BEast team instead of an AAAACCC team in his "way too early" bracket predictions. It must kill him to now have only one AAAAAACCC team in his predictions.
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

Why would Lunardi be an AACK fan? He's a Philly guy and a St. Joes alum/commentator.

He writes and does his bracketology for ESPN, which broadcasts a lot of AAAAACCC games. So while he may not personally be an AAAAAAAAAACC fan, he no doubt does his best to put the league in a good light with his columns. My whole point was that all of his early brackets for next season included UConn as an AAACC team. While technically correct, until yesterday, it was misleading to claim that his bracket projected two AAAAAAACC teams in next year's Dance when one of them was UConn.
