Lunardi posted 1st bracketology of regular season....

Xavier 3 South
Georgetown 12 West (PIG - highest one)
Creighton 6 West
Villanova 1 East (2nd overall seed)
Butler 8 MW
Seton Hall 11 MW (3rd team with a bye)

CBS Sports' 1-351 College Basketball Rankings ... # 259 Arkansas State ... I don't see Georgetown making the field in Lunardi's next update.

New bracketology by Lunardi has Nova with the overall #1 seed. But because he has them playing in Buffalo, Stever will most likely think this is a bad thing.

Other BE teams: Xavier #2, Creighton #5, Butler #7, Seton Hall #9. No one else on the bubble.

I'm not reading anything into this but wouldn't mind Xavier playing in Florida, I believe Xavier has won 9 straight games in Florida but would rather play in Indiana so I could go :D

it's great for Nova.... Only negative at all would be that Syracuse is in the pod as well, and would have a lot of Orange fans there ostensibly rooting against Nova. And Notre Dame there as an opponent so presumably a lot of Irish fans there. But still not a negative for Nova in any fashion.

but I would really hate it if this were the bracket....
Creighton 5 seed- still seeing Wisconsin as a 4 seed in Milwaukee
Butler 7 seed- seeing Kansas as a 2 seed in Tulsa
Seton Hall 9 seed- seeing UNC as a 1 seed in Greenville

and even Xavier- 2 seed- seeing Florida St possibly as a 10 seed in Orlando

So this bracket would really suck if it were the final bracket.

I'd be content if we get 5 in with all decent seeds, preferrably with 3 that have the seed and the talent to make the second weekend, and 2 that could make a third weekend run. We have the above 5 teams that are looking good.
I realize its early, but what one or two other teams do you guys see as realistically "being a part of the conversation" for a bid?

I am depleted of IQ points every time I try to decipher the riddle, wrapped into a mystery, inside that godamn enigma that is the Hoyas of Gtown. They possess the most recognizable brand in the conference (Villanova is on your heels), for both academics and basketball. When someone asks me what conference my school is affiliated/who are other conference members, the first school I always list is Georgetown, as I'm extremely proud to be in the same conference with such a prestigeous institution( Like a kid saying his school plays in the ACC, you know, the conference that Duke plays in). In a way, it legitimizes my school (Xavier) academically and sports wise (basketball). I did some research and looked at the commitment rankings of your players over the last 5 plus years. The kids are all, at worst, high 3 star/top150, and 4 star kids. 90% of the teams they play they "out talent" them on paper. It was physically painful to see you guys come so close to establishing some resume building wins (MD), and then merely taking care of business against the cupcakes, and you are looking at a solid start with a team with legitimate tournament aspirations . Losing to the Badgers will not hurt, but then to be destroyed by OKST, a team picked to finish in the bottom half of the Big 12....is it against NCAA rules to put all your players on anti depressants that are seratonin stabilizers, hence possibly solving this bipolar behavior?
