Tulsa shows up at #115.
AAC 5 teams left- last Tulsa #115
ACC?
A10 7 teams left- last Fordham #134
B10 10 teams left- last Penn St #132
B12?
BE?
MVC 4 teams left- last Indiana St #140
MWC 5 teams left- last Boise St #118
P12 10 teams left- last Stanford #117
SEC 10 teams left- last LSU #122
WCC 3 teams left- last Pepperdine #124

got 62 NCAA teams left. Of those, 15 are from conferences not in my list of 11. So far we've seen 11 of those 15 conferences. Of those 11- 5 have only their champion left. The other 6 have a total of 17 teams left.

The 4 conferences that are outside the top 11 conferences that we've not seen- Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, MAAC, and WAC.

At this point, I think DePaul will not make the list.

Everyone else should, IMO.

now up to #110...
AAC 5 teams left- last Tulsa #115
ACC 12 teams left- last Ga Tech #110
A10 6 teams left- last Richmond #112
B10 10 teams left- last Penn St #132
B12?
BE?
MVC 3 teams left- last So Illinois #111
MWC 5 teams left- last Boise St #118
P12 10 teams left- last Stanford #117
SEC 10 teams left- last LSU #122
WCC 3 teams left- last Pepperdine #124

Got 61 NCAA teams left. Of those 14 are from conferences not in my list of 11.

We're about 2-3 weeks before we get into NIT teams. I'd be shocked if we don't start to see a team from the Big East this week. I probably would have had all but DePaul ahead of Ga Tech quite frankly.

William & Mary in at 105.

Right now there are teams in from all but 5 conferences....
Big 12
Big East
MAAC
Summit
WAC

Those 5 conferences combined have 16 teams. So best case right now the Big East/Big 12 would have 13 teams between them. So beginning to think Big East will have only like 6 or 7 tops in this. Frankly seems a bit low. Of course for a few teams- they aren't top 144, but are in for the auto bids.

I'm kind of guessing if it's 6- Providence, Marquette, DePaul, and St John's not in this.

I would imagine Marquette would make the list. I don't think the other 3 are top 144 teams.

I know it's blasphemous almost, but could Georgetown miss it as well?

countdown now down to 89 with UAB... Still no Big East teams...

what is interesting is I think I really miscalculated before.....

There's 11 conferences already with their conference champions posted.....
There's 70 teams left where a team in their conference has been posted, but not the conference champion. There's 2 conferences not posted yet. Big 12 and Big East. SO- by my calculation, there's the final 18 teams in the countdown.

So now absolute worst case scenario there would be 8 Big East teams. And I would have to ask- would TCU get in already? If TCU didn't make it- that would mean 9 Big East teams in the countdown still.... And what is even better is the fact that UAB is the 1st NIT school, so all 8 or 9 would be NCAA/NIT projected(though would remind that the bottom 9-10 NIT schools probably would be more out as the fact that the conference champions in the smaller conferences lose in the conference tourney and steal an NIT bid). And no, I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell of DePaul getting in the countdown!
