Are you referring to the csnbbs board, goldenwarrior? Yeah that place was/is a cesspool.

Thanks and congratulations to the creation and health of Holylandofhoops, one of the best boards on the net.

Yes, although I wasn't sure we could reference it.

If you guys want to have a neat look back at December of 2012, etc, click on the "Page 98" hyperlink on the top right of the main thread page.

The 10 of us have come a really long way, and have far exceeded even my lofty optimistic expectations. Keep up the great work and Go Big East...!!!

* joking about Twin Oaks.

I could spend hours going back through the threads on roughly pages 80+. Fascinating to review how things unfolded and I enjoyed re-reading the pure jubilation of fans here as the Big East rebranded itself as the best hoops only conference in America.

Thanks for doing this. Great idea that provides us all great memories, especially given how we're tracking together in this conference.

My only problem is that I can't find the hyperlink for some reason. A little help please.

Amen! great board! Funny, we all said 3-5 years for this whole thing with FS1 to grow. Look he needs our headlines! It's a BE page now! http://espn.go.com/ncb/

Love this board almost as much as I love this new conference. Joined Jan 8th, 2013 (3rd week in I guess). ArmyVet, I did the same (went back and read pages full of posts). Great stuff. First hearing all the rumors about who was going to join (Dayton fans were particularly entertaining). Then there was drama over the C7 negotiating a bigger slice of the pie than the other 3. It was not the case but man were there a lot of hurt feelings with that one. Then there was the throw DePaul, SHU, and Prov out of the conf. threads. Very entertaining. Then later threads about who everyone thought was going to be good and who wasn't (Nova picked 4th in year 1 I believe). There was actually an early thread (after Stevens bolted for the Celts) asking if adding Butler was a mistake. You gotta love those short term viewpoints. Lastly some beauts from haters saying that the BE would never be able to keep up with recruiting (um...wrong again).

Fun going back to see everyone's viewpoints.

You know it must drive stever nuts to see ESPN drooling over the little old BIG EAST while his beloved Conference of Americans continues to be buried by their own media partner.

Here are some great reads from that time.

The New Yorker thought we were the true big east.

The Washington Post thought Siena might be the 6th member of an eastern division and that Creighton was too far west.

And so many more!
