Who cares what everyone else thinks, we're from NYC. Also i'm a Yankees fan so i'm used to the haters.

I guess you have a point but let's still not be too arrogant. Plus the hate on St. John's is mostly just Cause everyone hates on DLo

Haters gonna hate on talent. They all wish they had D'lo, especially when he wins POY.

St Johns would need to finish Top 3 for that to happen. St Johns is not finishing Top 3.

Well we finished in the top 3 last season and we can easily do that again. Pretty funny how all you bozos write us off when we don't have a single bad loss like most of the league does.

Home Losses-
Nova 0
Butler 1
Seton Hall 1
Georgetown 0
Providence 1
Xavier 0
St John's 2
DePaul 1
Marquette 0
Creighton 2

Having tied with Creighton the most home losses is a problem. Definitely if you want to finish in the top 3. It's going to take at least 11 wins to finish top 3- for St John's- they'd need to go 10-4 rest of the way. It's possible for sure- but not likely.

You say it's unlikely I say it is likely. I think we beat Seton Hall when we play them again, I think we beat Butler when we play them again. I think we split with Gtown and maybe X. I think we sweep DePaul, CU and Marq. I think 10-4 the rest of the way in conference play is definitely achievable. Hell we might even do BETTER than that! If our bench plays like it did last night we wont run into the trouble we had against Nova in the last 6 minutes of that game. If you didn't watch the game we hung in with them the entire game until foul trouble and exhaustion hurt our 6 man rotation. If we can get 2-3 more guys off the bench who can give us some quality minutes then we'll only be more dangerous.

St. John's pretty much has 4 more almost guaranteed loses in @ Nova, @ Georgetown, @ Xavier, @Butler. So they have to be perfect in the other 10 games with out a slip. Sure it's possible you pick off 1 of those 4 games, but it's also extremely likely you falter in one of the other 10.

And You finished 5th last year not top 3.

Harrison will not be BE POY because the POY has come from the team that finish 1st or 2nd at least since the mid 90s. That's not changing. And I don't think St. John's will finish 2nd.

Oh guaranteed! Well then, why even play the games. Hoyahooligan says we already lost the game. Oh and we finished tied for 3rd. only two teams had a better record in conference than us. We were seeded 5th but we had the same record as the teams seeded 3rd and 4th. WE TIED FOR 3RD!!!! Thats a top 3 finish.

Well guys pack it all in, this guy thinks we wont do anything this year. Harrison who is the only Wooden award finalist wont win the POY award. No chance!

You think GTown is good enough to guarantee any win right now? I don't. You guys don't impress me, and like I said earlier Smith is to fat to get up and down the court.

Personally, I'm a little surprised Providence is included in the options but not Georgetown. Providence seems to have better wins (including a win over Georgetown) but worse losses.

Here's a cool exercise...
This is what our discussion should be about.

List all 25 Big East and ACC teams in the order that you think they'd finish if all 25 of us were in 1 conference.

By RPI it goes:
(10 of the bottom 13 are ACC teams. 7 of the top 12 are Big East schools. The BE is 7-1 vs the ACC this year).
3 virginia.
5 VILLANOVA.
8 unc.
10 duke.
13 BUTLER.
19 SETON HALL.
22 PROVIDENCE.

24 louisville.
29 ST JOHN'S.
33 GEORGETOWN.

43 notre dame.
44 XAVIER.
45 syracuse.
46 nc state.
53 miami.
72 georgia tech.
77 pitt.
84 clemson.
108 MARQUETTE.
137 boston college.
140 wake forest.
147 CREIGHTON.
151 florida state.
184 DEPAUL.
241 virginia tech.
