Johnnies up 42-30 at half. Can't imagine SJU playing any better than they did before the break.

Which should've been expected coming into tonight, a loss here and our season is close to done barring a major run that we don't have the depth to pull off. This was a must win for SJU, and much to my pleasure they are playing like it

Come on Johnnies. This would really help out my Bulldogs.

A must win for SJU. It just seems to me that PC is always at the other end of a must win game or a game when some team turns it around, or has a BIG game.
I think PC is in trouble saturday as well, Cant see Creighton losing at home especially if they lose to Marquette tonight

Great game played by St John's. We didn't play that bad, SJU was just unconscious. It was like playing an all-star team. This conference is stacked.

Also, the Johnnies RPI improved from 44 to 28 tonight. PC's dropped from 13 to 23. Six of us are in the Top-33, plus X is at 43.

Huge win for SJU. Their RPI jumped about 15 points with the win (28) to stay on the right side of the bubble.

The way I see it, this is a game SJU not only should have won but had to win. Refs made some awful, awful calls which made me cringe. This is the Big East, enough with calling flops and tick tacks. Only call blatant ones. Let the kids play. Harrison very quietly moves into 3rd in total points in SJU history. That is major. #1 is Mullin. This is a program that has been around for a long time and is one of the top 50 best programs of all time. That is not easy to do. Kudos to him.

That said, this is a senior laden team with tons of talent. Without Cotton, we should be beating them. On to the next must win: DePaul. I swear if DePaul beats us it will be a blow to the conference. We need to sweep them. We still have Duke, @Nova, G'Town 2x, @Butler, etc. We either need to win all of the games we should i.e. sweep MU, DePaul, etc. or we need to split a few vs. the lower teams and beat Nova. A win vs. Nova or Duke and no slip ups against inferior competition would seal the deal for the tourney without sweating. Losing both would mean we need to do some serious sweeping.

This league is crazy. There are no games off. None.
