And I am not confidence about xavier dancing. Too many bad losses.

I still think 5 teams is the ceiling, and we have a much better chance at 4 than 7.

Butler- they have 13 wins already- and haven't played DePaul, Creighton, or Marquette yet. Already have 2 road wins against top 7 teams, with 1 home loss. If Butler doesn't make it now from here- it's a HUGE choke job quite frankly.

Xavier- yes they have some bad losses. I think a key for them is going to be to beat Cincy- to give them a 2nd good OOC win.

Not quite ready to say it yet- but I think we may be getting close to 5 being the floor. I think to get 6 or 7 would require work by those teams in the conference tourney.

I think St. John's will be fine (already got their trips to the Rock, the Dunk, and 1 nova game out of the way), but I would love to see them take down Duke. Given Duke's current problems (dealing with quick guards and stopping dribble penetration), the matchup seems tailor-made for a Johnnies victory. I am sure the rest of the conference wants to see that too.

Really the St John's/Duke and the Xavier/Cincy games are HUGE games for us getting more than 5 teams in.

Big wins for georgetown and xavier to ease their bubble troubles. And providence with a win over a lower 30% team on the road is big.

Good day for the conference.

Still think the league gets 6 in. One of GTown/Xavier/SJU probably is left as a top NIT seed because they're unlikely to all go better than .500 in conference and I don't think any have the non-conference resume to get in with only 8-9 BE wins.

To me, Nova, PC, Butler and SHU are comfortably in and will stay that way barring a collapse down the stretch. The key IMO will be for one or two of PC/SHU/Butler to wind up with 12+ conference wins to hopefully boost them into a protected seed in the tournament. Would hate to see Nova as a 1/2 seed, then the next three in that dreaded 8/9 game, but that's where it seems to be trending.
