on the other hand, PC has to right the ship. it's not just that they lost 3 in a row, but they did not show much effort or desire against Brown. If they come out with same lack of focus then you know there is something seriously wrong with the team that showed a lot of promise early on.

I think for us(Georgetown)- the key is how do we do in conference? If we're 12-6, than no it's not a must win tonight. But if we go 9-9, tonight absolutely is a must win. I don't want to go into the BET at 17-12, knowing a 1st round loss, and we're almost certainly out. One thing to remember, our OOC resume this season would be MUCH worse than last year. Last year we had wins over Michigan St, VCU, and Kansas St. This year it would be Florida. Pretty big difference. So I think us this year with 17 wins wouldn't look anywhere near as good as last years team did with 17 wins.

Sure, but for me a homer I can't see us getting less than double digit BE wins this year. Also assuming we beat Indiana the OOC will still have enough splash to get us in w/o Kansas. Florida win will look a whole lot better at the end of the year and they played everyone against us, so the committee can't knock that win as coming when they didn't have everyone.

For PC, it's a must win plain and simple. You don't want to go into conference play with 4 or 5 losses- where you would pretty much have to go 11-7 to make the tourney.

For Georgetown, it's almost as big. A loss and enter conference play best case at 8-3. With only Florida as a quality win. Would need to do a lot in conference play- at least 10 wins- to have much of a chance to make the tourney. Going 9-9 would put us at 17-12 which is awfully tenuous at making it.

It'll be interesting to see how St John's handles success. Real interesting.

First I want to say This game scares me, I want SJU to play urgent in this game. Can't sleep on nobody.

G-Town has to get this game tonight, lets go 2-1 in this showcare last night/tonight.
Then what will the espn idiots say.

Georgetown's attendance has been declining fairly significantly and its a major concern. The arena is way too big for them. I thought/hoped they'd get a sellout or at least somewhat close, it doesn't look close on tv. Well check the box after. Anything less than 15 for that game is a disappointment. I can't talk much as PCs attendance has not been great yet, but if 10 ranked Kansas was in town we'd have sold out (12,500).

Anyway if u want to keep a tab on PC u can see it streaming here

too bad for Gtown, was hoping they take that one at home.

PC takes care of business, MUCH better effort, they responded. Pretty sloppy finish where we almost blew it (lazy passes against the press and not defending the 3), but other than that nothing to complain about, we beat them start to finish tonight and showed much more effort/emotion and regained some confidence. Need to take cupcake Saturday and then two potentially tough games against Umass at home and Miami at neutral court. Still think we need to run the table to close out OOC if we have designs on post season, which will be tough. But I am back on the bandwagon after this response to their 3 game funk.
