Playing hallmark Butler basketball right now. Tough D, limit to one shot, grab the offensive tip outs. Now if the shots start falling, things will look better on the scoreboard.

Not sure if Butler likes the up-tempo, push the ball style North Carolina is running, but they are doing a good job keeping up early. A lot has to do with their relentless pursuit of the loose ball.

No doubt this game will be a battle the entire way to see who gets to control the tempo. Would like to see Dunham convert on some of those 3's.. that would help them a ton with their spacing and the points wouldn't hurt either!

Hopefully those shots will start to fall.
This has been a really messy game so far, hopefully both teams will cut down on the turnovers and fouls in the second half.

Butler down 3 at the half.

If their 3s start going down, we might have ourselves another huge conference win! Refs have sucked

Good job by Butler staying even on the glass with that athletic UNC team - no easy task. They've also kept Marcus Paige quiet, which is a key to beating the Heels. Roosevelt Jones is just one of those pesky, unconventional players that are hard to match up against.

Butler leads by 5 at the U16, would be remarkable to beat the #5 ranked team and the refs at the same time.

THIS is the Butler team I think we all missed and craved for last season. Tough, disciplined, smart. Glad to see them giving UNC a run for their money. Chris Holtmann is coaching an excellent game.
