It would be nice if the BE added VCU just to have a team everyone would hate. Havoc + public school angle would be everything you could hate.
I like Creighton, I'd be afraid to play you guys since you seem to have crisp and precise passing. I hate Wichita St. With a passion, so always hoped you'd beat them.
Anon-
I will say that if the referees didn't let us "play" the way we liked in past years, it wouldn't work out always. We were undefeated at home last year, and only so/so on the road (where foul calls were less favorable) but we still made great games out of @SLU and @UMass - even won @Dayton. We were the only top 4 A-10 team to play all other top 4 teams on the road.
VCU has started to recruit offense, and you can tell that having so many top 100's in the last two recruiting cycles has started to make a difference. Shooting has improved, and havoc is designed to increases possessions - we just didn't hit shots previously. We would be regulated to forcing fluid turnovers to score quick transition points at the rim or the 3. These recruits will be able to hit shots at a much higher rate.
Game tonight should be good, have a feeling Villanova's 3 point shooters will actually start to come around, for the first time this season!
