We didn't look as bad in the first half as I expected.

Nice job, Xavier.

Good recovery, Georgetown.

I saw the latter stages of both games. I also heard Kevin O'Neill reiterate something I noticed a couple days ago. It was about Josh Smith's conditioning. He's still not in good shape.

A solid player, but his conditioning has to improve.

Bluiett- 20 Macura- 17 M. Davis- 15 Abell- 13 Stainbrook- 11 - We got some shooters this year. 13 three's.
LBSU shot 71% in the first half.
When they checked the scoreboard they saw they were only down by 13, a bit disheartening. Final 97-74

disagree. He played 26 minutes. Grabbed 12 rebounds and defended, heck he even ran the court. He's much better than he was last year. He's never going to play 30+ minutes, but he's more than fine out there.

Our guys were frustrating at times in the second half, but finished down 11. Ohio State didn't switch to backups as far as I can tell. We beat the spread. I still don't have high expectations for us, but I'm more hopeful than I was this morning. Can't wait until we have Luke Fischer.

Butler is up 14 at the U8 break. Chattanooga isn't as bad as that loss at Wisconsin. They'll finish the season with a winning record in the SoCon. Overall, Butler looks sloppy - something that was hidden in the blowout vs Maine. The Dawgs look lost against the zone.

Georgetown's attendance tonight was 4,887. Attendance are paid numbers. Are season-ticket numbers really that low?

You can disagree. That's fine. I know what I saw the other day. I barely saw any of tonight's game, so I can't say about how he defended. I'm not gonna take your word for it, as you're the ultimate homer.

He's still not in the best shape.

The league has won every game they were favored in and lost the one we weren't. Hard to glean any real information based on chalk results. Creighton is an underdog tomorrow at home against a top 20 team. Hope we can pull the first big upset of the Big East season.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
