I don't think whitehead will be as bad as today, but I don't think he's going to be a one and done or FOY either. Delgado looked, good the rest of the freshmen did not impress despite the less heralded players being hyped up by the Pirate fans. Obviously just the first game, but I don't think the Freshman class is going to be as amazing as Pirate fans hoped at least not in year 1.

BUT. They don't need to be because people ignored how good the returning players are. Gibbs is going to be better than Whitehead all year. Mobley looked good. I think the Veterans for Seton Hall are going to be the ones that make them good this year.

While I agree that Gibbs, Mobley, and Sina will be the guys to carry Seton Hall this year, I think it's a bit unfair to write off the freshmen as not living up to expectations based on their first game. Nobody expected them to step in and be instant stars, but I still think they can play important roles and give the team a deep bench.

It was Whiteheads first game, he will be fine. To say he want compete for ROY because of that performance is ridiculous

It's more to do with how good Gibbs is and how that will take away opportunities from Whitehead rather than the fact that he played like crap in his first game.

But it has even more so to do with how good LJ Peak was yesterday: 9-9 from the field and 23 points :D

Watching the Creighton game right now, really like their ball movement.

Obviously very small sample size but Creighton easily one of the most impressive BE teams I've seen.

Looks like Creighton still runs the same offense. They are putting up nothing but 3's. Chicago St climbing back into it

Creighton really falling apart with Chatman and Artino on the bench. Making Chi State look good. Also, think we may have our first flop by their backup pg.
