MxBrayer is expected to announce this week at the UA Championship. I think its either SHU or Minn but I think he goes SHU because of the player connections (Delgado, Whitehead) and Minny has been loading up on other guards. I think its is gonna be SHU against Nova for Silva. Love Spencer but he is gonna be tough. Take McBrayer and one or two of McDuffie, Silva, and Spencer. If only one from that 3 commits save the ship for 2016

No Briscoe?? Come on he's gotta be part of any Seton Hall dream class for 2015 and yes we do have a realistic shot guys. I think we are in deeper with Briscoe than we were with IW at the same point last year and this year we have Delgado & Whitehead recruiting him hard. I think he wants to see the Hall play with all the fresh talent this season. But I think he'll sign in the late period regardless.

Problem is if McBryer wants to commit next week do you not take him? SHU is not in the position to wait till the Spring. With 4 guards already on the roster 5 and potentially 6 could create a log jam, leaving people unhappy and transferring out

Below is my full post from earlier today... Point is, I don't think we are getting Briscoe.

And I always go by the philosophy, especially with KW.

"1 in the hand is worth 2 in the bush"

I'd rather take a good McBrayer than pass on him and hold onto a 1% chance that we land Briscoe.

1 solid player in hand vs an NBA talent in the bush isn't such a simple decision. Plus why not wait? I wouldn't take McB or any other guard until I knew my chances with IB were slim to none. Like you guys said it's not like SHU is going to be desperate for guards in 2015 with Sina, Gibbs, IW (likely) & Carrington. 2016 is when the guard position gets thin. Briscoe could help open up a pipeline to RC, he would bring back to back McD's AA to SHU, are you kidding why not wait for a player with NBA potential who still has you on his list?

We waited for Kyle Anderson and passed on man many players that would have helped us. We all know how that story ended.

Yo I understand being cautiously optimistic but no need to be pessimistic. The program was in a much more desperate situation back then. The program then needed a savior and an identity, the program now has both already. Can't be gun-shy just because you didn't get a recruit in the past. Over the past few years the Hoyas have missed out on Noel, Elbert Robinson & Kyle Anderson yet they're working on back to back insane recruiting classes. Recruiting is about having a short memory. Don't forget SHU last season beat out Kentucky and others for Angel Delgado.
